Daily Accountability Rules
Non-negotiable checks. Review every single day before logging.
Hard Rules
- Max 5 songs per day. Music is a crutch. Use silence to think.
- Zero media consumption. No video, no reels, no shorts, no content consumption of any kind. No exceptions.
- Use Forest app for studying, work, and focus sessions. If you're not tracking it, you're not doing it.
- Write daily logs in this kubequest logs folder. Every day. No skipping.
- Optional: financial tracking. Do quick calculation of spending if possible.
Daily Habits Checklist
Run through these every day:
- [ ] Room is clean
- [ ] Clothes are clean / laundry handled
- [ ] Ate well (followed the eating schedule)
- [ ] Forest sessions logged
- [ ] Daily log written
- [ ] Song count <= 5
- [ ] Zero media consumed
Weaknesses to Fix Daily
These are patterns. They don't fix themselves. Confront them every day:
- Waiting too long to start. Remember: the anxiety disappears the moment you begin. The difficulty disappears the moment you begin. Just start. The hardest part is the 5 seconds before you do it.
- Over-relying on AI. Use it less. Struggle with the code. The struggle is where learning happens. Be better at coding through your own effort.
- Comparing to the wrong baseline. Look at your past self. Are you better than that person? Good. Keep going. That's the only comparison that matters.
- Worrying about past or future. Neither exists right now. Just do. Keep looking at the goal and move toward it. Nothing else matters.
