Instructor: So this is the moment

that we've been waiting for.

We are on the final tab called Review and create.

As you can see, there are some validation that goes back to

check out all of our settings

to make sure we haven't made any mistakes.

We can review the settings here.

If we want to save this and you run it

as an automation template,

and we do have videos in this course talking about

arm templates, this is where we would do that.

And we'll talk about that in the appropriate video.

So now that it's all past the validation,

I'm just gonna hit the Create button,

And all that we've done has now being turned

into a deployment and is going to be passed

through Azure Resource Manager

and the storage account will be created.

So we're gonna let that run for about a minute.

That didn't take too long,

and our deployment is now complete.

If I open this deployment details,

I can see what goes into creating the storage account.

Remember, I attach the storage account

to a specific virtual network,

and so that's part of the deployment.

And if we look at the storage account itself,

it took about a minute and 20 seconds to create one for me.

Okay, so I'm gonna click this blue

Go to resource button

and that'll load.

We can see that provisioning says Succeeded.

It is a general purpose v2

as we selected locally redundant storage.

Standard, not premium performance in the East US region.

So all of the things that we asked for it,

it's been created.

Now in the videos that follow,

I'm gonna talk about various features.

Now that we have a storage account,

we can look at things like storage explorer.

We can create containers,

we can create blobs inside those containers,

we can access those.

I can talk about how keys work

in terms of getting the access to the contents

and all that fun stuff.

But as of now,

we have a storage account created in Azure.

So let's keep going.
